School starts today (it's freshman orientation.) I'm the Junior Class Vice President, so I have to help guide the freshman around the school. Tomorrow is my first official day.

I've been asked to help with costumes and props in my school's production of a Midsummer's Night Dream!! From what I know I'll need to construct an Ass's head (lol donkeys), and a Wall costume. This should be fun. I'll either use a new foam+fabric technique, or paper mache..

Uh.. IN OTHER NEWS: my hair is pink.

I have a very nice camera now.

I have taken a few pictures with it so far, hopefully I will be able to obtain some sort of photo-editing program to get them ready to post. .

[lazy update]

From July 6th to August 13th I worked on a local Litter Patrol. I got up at 4am every morning and worked 10 hours, coming home at around 5pm. I made lots of money. ;D

I'm doing a two week band camp this year. I feel like every part of my body has been ripped in half at least two or three times. I still have nine days left of this intense workout. I'm a color guard member, it's fun. I can't dance. Lol!

My laptop died, along with all the data I had, which means my photography is GONE. poof. It does not exist anymore. Everything I had planned to upload is no longer accessible.

I'm getting a new laptop in the next two weeks.

My camera died. The digital screen used to take pictures no longer functions. It takes pictures, but hell if I can see what I'm doing. It's a little digital so there is no viewfinder.. ;| I can use my mom's if I have to, since we have the same camera, but I don't have much to take pictures of.

I'll probably buy a new fancy camera in the next two months or so. Maybe around Christmas time or something.

My sewing machine is ALSO busted. Great summer, amirite? So.. I don't know of any local shops that repair machines. I don't know WHEN I'll get that fixed, but I'm NOT buying a new one of those.

I can still hand sew, IF I had time.

Okay. So I haven't updated in like, a bazillion years.
Pay attention in the next few days. I've been sketching like a mad woman so I might upload some of my doodles.

Currently I'm trying to draw dudes. I'm pretty familiar with the female form, so after a day of trying to draw my boyfriend I realized I don't know how do draw masculine bodies.

Now it's my challenge.

Nothing new sewn, however.. I do have to make a puppet for a role in a play I'll be performing. I'll post pictures of him when I get him finished. Also, I never took pictures of Manic. The weather is getting warmer and less windy/rainy, so I'll look forward to a picture-trip some day in the next three months. Yeah I said three months. I'm taking my time. He's not that fantastic so don't get your panties in a bunch.

Previously mentioned puppet will have a mustache. (and a toupee)
This is something to be excited about.
